I have just received the following e-mail. It was forwarded to me and is apparently an original letter from radio personality Jeremy Mansfield. I can’t confirm the authenticity of it but the content is fair comment:

Jeremy Mansfield and “Simphiwe” don’t mess around when they take a swipe at somebody…
The team made fun of Bafana Bafana and Benni McCarthy pulling out of the side. Simphiwe’s argument was that Bafana Bafana were useless anyway and the only time South Africans beat won anything was when they BEAT FOREIGNERS AT HOME….

The RAW Rocks concert in association rub between Rapport and Jeremy Mansfield’s Rude Awakening team is an interesting concept in that in a time where everybody is punting “being African”, this is a concert aimed at driving Afrikaans music and culture.

What’s the community take on the Rude AWakening (RAW) show? Undoubtedly Jeremy Masnfield makes the show but I wonder if “Joburg’s BIGGEST Breakfast show” isn’t due for a makeover?
