It was interesting times in the MTN Radio Awards with 702 dominating.
Reading the tweets it looks like 702 really did kick ass. As one of the tweeters commented “the power of talk radiO!”

Thought it would be a little bit of fun to see which of the SA radio DJ’s / personalities had the biggest following on Twitter.
While a Twitter following is not indicative of real popularity and listenership, it is quite obvious which stations have backed the technology / social media initiatives.

I see Gareth Cliff from 5FM is taking some flak in the Twitterverse (big whoop) and the media about some comments he made about former health minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang.
A couple of his “Tweets” included:
