<description>We possess a way far better, interactive and (also) very easy to make use of a single. We&#039;re just stuck for your lack of funding to the same. ;-(</description>

		<description>Hi Rivalblogger,

Nice comments on the topic of Internet Radio.

Just want to let you know that we are also part of the &#039;development of internet radio&#039;. We are trying hard and I think it can work quite well.

The main problem that we experience is the majority of people in SA do not use broadband. That exclude a big part of the population listening to an online radio. We are a Golden Oldies Online radio and for good quality you cannot stream lower than 128kbps. (If you do not stream a lot of music then you can get away with a much lower kbps).

Our Online Radio is for Afrikaans/English listeners from all over the world. We want to bring South Africans together again. We want the listeners to actively take part by sending dedications, messages. etc. (like the radio stations of the past). The problem with today&#039;s Radio Stations is that you have 2 or more DJ&#039;s on duty, making silly jokes and basically speaking to one another. The listeners are feeling excluded as they become &#039;passive listeners&#039; - they do not feel part of the radio activities anymore. We are trying to correct this - but only time will tell whether we will be successful or not.

We are ex South Africans living near Perth in Western Australia. Please have a look at what we are planning:
http://impalaradio.org
You can always participate as a guest presenter!

I see you are English speaking. If you&#039;re not at ease with a lot of Afrikaans, then you will probably like our second project which is just English:
http://gv-school.com/radio
Maybe you would like to participate on this radio. Become a DJ?

Feel free to contact me with any suggestions or other comments.

Greetings.
