I love trawling the databases of the Loot, Amazon, Kalahari type sites looking for bargains and absolute classics. You find things that you remember were really good a couple of years back and hell they bring back some memories.
I was on the Loot side recently looking through the comedy stuff to see if there was any good SA comedy other than the annual Darren Simpson “Whackhead” CD…. Lo and Behold - “The Best Of John Berks Fun Calls” - November 2000…
The original radio prankster who set the scene for the likes of Whackhead!
John Berks is a name I haven’t heard in years and to see his CD pop up reminds me of drives in the car being forced to listen to 702. They were classics in their time. Anyway - check it out - a true classic of the genre
