Radio Review

I always keep an eye on the young generation of radio presenters coming through and at times I have been pretty critical of some of the talent that comes on air. When I head KB was in for Gareth Cliff this morning I cringed… some seriously big shoes for him to fill.

To his credit I thought he did quite a good job. There is nothing worse when a “side-kick” takes over a show when the main presenter is away and the show just lurches around without direction – the Rude Awakening is a bit like this – I would prefer it when Mansfield is away that Paul Rotheram handles the show on his own rather than the rest of the team trying to stick to the format minus the star attraction….

Well done KB – I thought you did well for a high pressure show.
