I was driving today flicking between Jacaranda, Highveld and 5FM and it struck me that there is a hell of a lot of airtime for SA music these days. Even more rewarding is the quality of the music being played.

I have been racking my brains around Radio based competitions and I can’t think of a single competition run by a radio station, that has been as successful as The Fugitive on Highveld stereo.
Anyone else got any ideas on competitions that have kept you as gripped or intrigued on the radion?

Many radio stations are now using their websites as portals to stream music, video clips, blogs, advertise and generally build their community.
Which SA radio station has the best website and how do you as a reader use this platform to interact with your station? The 5FM site seems to come up trumps in my books…
