Radio Review

Being something of a pleb of a white guy from the leafy suburbs of Parktown I have a very simplistic question to ask around “black” radio. What are the successful black radio stations, which of their presenters stand out and why are they successful?

The reason I ask is that I have an obsession with communications and marketing and building a good understanding of marketing channels obviously helps. It seems a bit arb to exclude the mediums that are reaching 80% of the population. If any of our readers could give me a snapshot or thoughts on “African” or “Black” radio I’d love to hear about it.
