I’m going to exclude the likes of Koula and Nicole Fox from this post because they’ve established personal reputations beyond simply being radio DJs. My question relates specifically to the talent of young female DJs in the industry. Who is coming through and what is their “selling point”? Kate Kearney is one who is making a bit of a reputation for herself gracing the likes of FHM magazines but she still seems to be struggling to develop a distinctive on air personality that defines here. Christina Knight (?) who was recently added to the 5FM lineup is supposed to be one of the people to watch out for. If she is – then what is distinctive about her?
